Jasper’s Boozy Chocolate Fondue

Method
- In a small heavy saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream over medium low heat until it is warm and just beginning to steam. Do not let it boil. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate and butter. Let it sit for one minute, then whisk slowly until smooth and glossy. Stir in the orange liqueur, vanilla, and sea salt until fully incorporated. Pour the warm chocolate into a fondue pot or a small serving bowl. Keep warm over a low flame or candle, stirring occasionally.
- How to Serve: Arrange marshmallows, crackers, and fresh fruit such as strawberries, raspberries, orange segments, apple slices, and pineapple on a glass platter. Provide fondue forks or skewers and invite guests to dip and swirl to their heart’s content. This fondue is perfect after dinner with coffee, espresso, or a glass of dessert wine, and it is especially lovely served family style at the table for lingering conversation and indulgence.
